As a Section Chef at a well-established organisation in Cambridge, you will deliver excellent services to all staff, guests and visitors whilst working as part of a great team.
Due to the nature of our business, you will not be required to work evenings, giving you a better work-life balance.
Job Title: Chef (no evenings)
Salary: £25,000 + additional pay benefits*
Hours 36.5 hour week (Monday to Friday) *overtime after 36.5 hours work will be paid at time and a half. Some weekend work on occasions (any weekend work taken will add an additional 10% uplift to full pay for that week)
Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
The ideal Chef will be an enthusiastic and self-motivated team player with great attention to detail. You will be able to plan your own work and have a proven ability to manage your workload when under pressure to meet multiple deadlines and will enjoy contributing to the excellent reputation of the department.
Previous experience of working in the catering industry
Experience of preparing, cooking and serving meals as well as dealing with customers face to face
Basic Food Hygiene qualifications, Catering qualification would be an essential
